ISO, or the International Organization for Standardization, is an independent body based in Switzerland, which is instrumental in creating and maintaining standards to which international trade bodies and governments abide. ISO standards impact every person as they relate to everything from food safety to healthcare and cover aspects of almost every industry and technology.

IMSM examines and outlines a business’s key activities and produces a manual that examines an organisation’s existing procedures and identifies those that conform to ISO standards. IMSM has helped more than 6,000 organisations worldwide to achieve ISO certification, including ISO 9001 (quality), IS0 14001 (environmental), ISO27001 (information security), BS OHSAS 18001 (health & safety), TS 16949 (automotive), ISO13485 (medical devices), and ISO22000 (food industry).

Annual audits are then required to maintain ISO certification, resulting in an ongoing income stream. 95 per cent of IMSM clients request this service, resulting in long-term relationships.

IMSM is now seeking franchisees and offering the opportunity to own and run IMSM consultancies in selected locations around the UK. Franchisees can work from home, identifying potential clients, usually among small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and presenting them with the benefits of the IMSM service. IMSM’s centralised booking, contracting and invoicing leaves franchisees free to find clients and develop their business.

Additional training is available that will allow franchisees to offer an extended range of ISO certifications.
