About Fun Fest Holiday Club

Our Model

We run Ofsted registered holiday clubs on school premises for 3-15 year olds in the school holidays, offering a menu of different activities for children to choose from.  They are staffed by qualified and experienced childcare professionals as well as sports coaches and enthusiastic students who have been trained in safeguarding and first aid.  This creates an energetic and fun atmosphere balanced with a safe, controlled environment.

Our aim is to offer working parents a solution to their holiday childcare dilemmas; high quality and flexible holiday childcare that suits all their children and runs for full working days for the duration of the holidays.

Why choose us?

The Market:

  • Unprecedented demand for holiday childcare
  • Insufficient supply of holiday childcare places
  • Government support to increase holiday childcare provision
  • Growing need for schools to generate their own sources of income

The Brand:

  • Ofsted registration for early years (3 – 5 years)
  • Through to holiday clubs aimed specifically at teens
  • Choice for children about how they spend their holiday
  • A proven record of success
  • Each club has its own page on the website
  • An excellent reputation with Ofsted, schools, parents & children

How much does it cost?

£14,999 plus an ongoing management fee of 10% of sales

How much profit should I expect to make?

  • A single medium-sized club (70 children per day):  £30k per year (£2.7k per week)
  • A single large club (120 children per day):  £65k per year (£4.5k per week)

This is pre-tax profit based upon clubs operating for 11 weeks per year.

Running a single club is not expected to be the equivalent of a full-time job in terms of earnings or time commitment.  This should work to the advantage of our franchisees as they can run a single club around other work or family commitments or they can open more clubs or services* if they wish to work and earn at a higher level.

*We have experience of running day nurseries, wraparound care and children’s parties

The franchise package

The licence to run Fun Fest Holiday Clubs within a defined region of the UK which contains at least 17,500 children aged 4-12 years.

A highly qualified and experienced team of childcare and business professionals have developed the processes and tools required to set up a Fun Fest Holiday Club and will train and support franchisees in using them to set up and run their own clubs.

Who are we looking for?

Our opportunities would ideally suit:

  • Parents who want to work flexibly around their family
  • Teachers and teaching assistants who are looking for a different challenge
  • Entrepreneurial workers who want to set up their own business but won’t risk giving up their day job yet

Whatever your situation, we are looking for people who are:

  • Knowledgeable about their local area
  • Able to plan, project manage and complete tasks to a deadline
  • Looking for quality and excellence in everything that they do
  • Skilled and empathetic communicators and leaders
  • Childcare qualifications and experience are helpful but not necessary.
