GroutGleam franchise owners are supplied with specialist products and comprehensive training, enabling them to provide rejuvenation, restoration and protection services to consumer, professional, industrial and trade customers. How much does a GroutGleam franchise cost?

There are three tiers of GroutGleam franchise opportunity to choose from – Approved Technician, Business Developer and Area Director.

An Approved Technician is a hands-on operator covering a single territory, and requires £3,500 +VAT in start up fees, plus £195 per month management fee. The Business Developer package is for
GroutGleam franchisees wishing to be both a hands-on and management operator, covering a double territory for £5,250 +VAT plus £270 per month management fee, while the Area Director is a team management operator covering a triple size territory for a £7,000 +VAT GroutGleam franchise fee plus £345 per month management fee.

GroutGleam franchise owners do not pay monthly fees for their first two months of business, and the start up costs have been kept deliberately low to launch the business, so may rise for franchisees joining in the future.

Finding funding to cover the GroutGleam franchising cost

GroutGleam actively encourage interested parties to apply for funding through the UK Government’s Start-Up scheme. GroutGleam are easily able to secure loans of up to £5,000 which can be used to cover the initial GroutGleam franchise fee along with extra stock, working capital and VAT. Loans for over £5,000 are also possible, though they take longer to process.

The government start-up loan is a popular and cost effective choice as there are no additional set up or early redemption fees, and the interest rate is deliberately competitive to assist new business owners. The first three months repayments are interest only (£25 on a £5,000 loan) and loans run over a five year period to keep monthly costs down (£102 per month).

How much does a GroutGleam franchisee earn?

Approved Technicians operating a single territory can expect to earn around £1,000 per week. The earnings of Business Developers and Area Directors will be more, depending on the size of their territory and how many technicians they employ. Promotional pricing and economies of scale ensure that potential earnings are significant.

Do GroutGleam franchisees need DIY experience?
