Providing dessert lovers with the finest, most luxurious sweet treats, Heavenly Desserts has established itself as one of the UK’s premium dessert destinations. With 16 restaurants across the UK, Heavenly Desserts offers diners a tailor made range of desserts, delivered in stylish and contemporary surroundings with exceptional customer service – a combination designed to provide customers with a unique and unforgettable dining experience.
Founded in 2008, Heavenly Desserts quickly became known for its unique sweet sensations, allowing customers to experience a taste of luxury every time they visit and transforming the desserts industry. By 2012 the business had expanded to 5 company stores, and 7 years later Heavenly Desserts franchising has seen the number of outlets grow to 16, with more restaurants due to open in the near future.
Refusing to compromise on any aspect of their offerings, Heavenly Desserts creations are designed by experienced artisans to look like miniature artworks, and each one tastes just as irresistible as it looks, providing a treat for all the senses. Crafted with care from only the finest ingredients including Belgian chocolate and Madagascan vanilla, the innovative Heavenly Desserts menu combines an extensive range of classic dessert options and decadent seasonal treats. Every dessert incorporates the very best flavours and textures from around the world, from American waffles to Italian gelato.
Along with the option of experiencing in-store dining with the most elegant surroundings, welcoming atmosphere and discreet table service, Heavenly Desserts franchises also offer a take-away menu for decadent desserts on the go, and a limited menu can also be ordered by Deliveroo for home dining.
Heavenly Desserts franchises are available as 3 possible concepts to suit different locations, each with a clear and transparent financial model.
Heavenly Desserts ‘Heavenly Cafes’ in larger towns or cities are designed to seat around 100 customers in a 2,000–3,000 square foot area. Also requiring nearby parking and a higher level of passing trade, these larger Heavenly Cafes require around £245,000 + VAT in total costs, depending on the location, condition and configuration of the building chosen.
A smaller Heavenly Café for 50 customers is recommended for small to medium towns, measuring upwards of 1,300 square feet and costing £195,000 + VAT.
The smallest of the Heavenly Desserts stores is a take-away kiosk which is a flexible option suitable for smaller venues such as airports, shopping centres, events and festivals. Requiring 300-800 square feet in space, a Heavenly Desserts kiosk franchise requires a total investment of approximately £100,000 + VAT.
The Heavenly Desserts franchise fee is £17,500 + VAT for each of these options, and additional ongoing charges include a Management Service Fee of five per cent, and a one per cent Marketing Fee.
Heavenly Desserts franchisees receive assistance with site acquisition, supply chain solutions and options for leasing equipment. The franchise owner then benefits from a turnkey operation, with the restaurant fully fitted and equipped with modern IT systems prior to launch.
Training and advice including initial staff recruitment guidance is offered, along with ongoing business management, operational and admin support including regular site visits. Heavenly Desserts assists with the new business launch marketing and operates exciting and varied year round social media and marketing campaigns.
The Heavenly Desserts franchise team may be able to offer assistance with obtaining financial funding for a new restaurant or kiosk – contact head office directly for further information.

Yes. Heavenly Desserts have established 150 possible territories to be opened over the next seven to eight years. Some of the larger city locations (for example Liverpool) are considered to be multi-store territories.
Heavenly Desserts currently have 16 restaurants in operation across the UK, with restaurants operating in Blackburn, Bradford, Cardiff, Colchester, Derby, Huddersfield, Leicester, Liverpool, Loughborough, Nottingham, Northampton, Oxford, Preston, Rushden Lakes, Sheffield and Walsall.
Seven new stores in Birmingham, Cambridge, Chester, Ilford, Manchester, Stratford and Walthamstow are also currently in development and due to open soon. Heavenly Desserts began life as five company stores which traded for eight years before the franchising business model was created, meaning that the team are likely to have experienced and overcome any problems or issues that franchisees may come across. With a belief in ethical and transparent trading, the Heavenly Desserts franchising ethos is that ‘both sides win’, which is why they offer outstanding support and guidance to new business owners in order to ensure that their restaurant is successful.
Franchisees are given access to the head office team of industry experts, and Heavenly Desserts prides itself on the personal relationship it has with each and every franchise owner. New business owners are given advice at every step, and are offered much more than the usual nine to five support.
Heavenly Desserts franchisees also benefit from the innovative and pioneering vision of the founders. A regularly updated menu helps restaurants to gain and retain customers, with recent changes including a range of gluten free menu options, along with new breakfast menus to extend potential trading hours.
After receiving a franchising brochure, Heavenly Desserts will contact potential applicants to discuss their requirements and preferred possible locations for their new business. Potential franchisees will be invited to attend a Discovery Day, which offers an overview of the business model and operations along with more detailed financial and marketing information. The Heavenly Desserts franchise team will also be happy to discuss the brand’s future plans and answer and questions, and a one to one meeting is also available at this time on request.
