The domestic housekeeping specialist clocks up 10 years of success in the UK
Bright & Beautiful is celebrating 10 years in franchising. In that time it’s grown its national network to over 65 business owners, created a workforce of 850-plus local people and is on track to achieve network revenue of £10 million in 2020.
Part of multi-brand franchisor Neighbourly, the award winning company was established in 2007 and set up its first pilot franchise in 2010 in Altrincham, Greater Manchester. With strong visual branding and being a values-based business, the UK-wide business has since gone from strength to strength.

Bright & Beautiful’s heritage has shaped its core values, which are based on four brand pillars - holistic housekeeping, strict security, trusted team and pure products - and have created a successful company culture that’s embodied across the franchise network.
Ethical employment is also a vital part of the business, with staff offered training, holiday pay and full employment rights. Equally important is sustainability - Bright & Beautiful is reducing plastic usage by around 1.5 tons per year by using eco-friendly cleaning products.
Managing director Sue Moore says: “We’re proud of achieving so many ambitious goals over the past 10 years and will be marking our anniversary with a series of celebrations throughout the year - we kick-started with a party last week.
“Our franchisees will also be commemorating their own milestones throughout 2020, along with raising funds for some fantastic local and national charitable causes, such as Dementia UK.”
Bright & Beautiful’s franchisee network is continually growing, with many new recruits coming from a wide range of backgrounds, according to Sue.
She adds: “Not only have they provided hundreds of jobs across the UK, but they have been able to offer progressive career opportunities for their professional housekeepers, including promotions to customer service and senior operational roles.
“These are jobs that are not only helping people into work and serving our local communities, but they are also contributing significantly to our regional and national economy.
“This next decade is going to be even brighter for Bright & Beautiful, where we’ll achieve even greater milestones. In the meantime, we’re focused on helping our busy clients to carve out some valuable free time, while letting us take care of housekeeping chores.”
