A healthcare information company is to make a charity donation every time clients pay on time

In a bid to improve cash flow, www.privatehealthcare.co.uk will make a donation of £25 to one of three chosen charities when it receives prompt payment.

Clients can express a preference for which charity benefits or the company will split donations evenly between Operation Smile, International Health Partners and Doctors of the World UK.

“Chasing slow payers costs us time and money,” says Keith Pollard, managing director of www.privatehealthcare.co.uk.

“We want to share the benefit we feel as a business when our customers pay on time with three important charities working in related fields to us.

“We’ve been telling clients about the scheme and it’s a great way to open up a conversation about the problems their late payments cause us and the knock-on effect when we’re unable to pay our suppliers on time as a result.

“Our clients who have always paid on time are delighted that charities stand to benefit at no cost to them and many of those who are late payers have committed to paying promptly in future to help trigger our donations.

“Late payment is a major issue for UK small and medium-sized enterprises at the moment, so hopefully other businesses will follow our lead to help keep the cash flow flowing, but also to help some amazing organisations carry out their vital work.”
