It announced that it took on 135 new franchisees during this time

The Travel Franchise has revealed that demand for the business has continued to grow in the last two years despite the grounding of the travel industry worldwide during the pandemic. It announced that it took on 135 new franchisees during this time, very much proving that confidence in the industry was high even though a majority of travellers remained at home.

The Travel Franchise enables people to operate their own travel agent business from home without the risk of going it alone, and unlike many of its competitors, franchisees do not need any travel agent experience or qualifications to join.

Jenny Farenden, head of franchise marketing at The Travel Franchise, explains: “We are one of the lowest risk franchises in the market and the last two years have certainly put this claim to the test. As we all know the travel industry basically came to a standstill during the lockdowns, and it was a very worrying time for everyone involved in the sector. However, we always knew that travel would return and the number of new franchisees who signed up with us over the last two years shows that confidence in the industry remained high. To welcome 135 new franchisees to our Travel Franchise family during this time was a remarkable feat, and shows the level of confidence and trust in our business.”

Franchises range from just £2,995-plus VAT to £49,995-plus VAT, depending on the chosen package. In addition, if franchisees hit certain milestones, they can have their franchise fee refunded in full. This can be achieved in as little as 10 bookings. The £2,995 Lite Package was initially introduced during COVID-19 as a more affordable option but it has proven so popular that the company has decided to continue it.
