First of many sites hopes to cash in on the thriving eat-at-home market

Chapati Man is launching a ghost kitchen in Camden, north London in mid-February in order to take advantage of the growing eat-at-home market.

The first of many, according to the spicy Indian wrap festival, event and street food business, they’re being opened in partnership with Jacuna Kitchens.

The sites will operate entirely online, allowing customers to order via third-party delivery partners, the Chapati Man website and bespoke customer ordering app.

Husband and wife team Chris and Andrea Rai founded Chapati Man in 2007.

Of the launch of the company’s ghost kitchen concept, Chris says: “This is another huge step forward for the Chapati Man brand and concept.”

Chapati Man has brought food franchising expert Brett Larrabee on board to assist with the development of the brand and franchise model.

During his 35 years in the sector, Brett has worked with the likes of Five Guys and is currently responsible for Little Caesars Pizza’s international franchise development.

Andrea says: “We’ve had an incredible year with lots of franchise interest from all over the world.

“With Brett’s help, we hope to push to the next level with a streamlined and very attractive franchise offer.”
