The online package includes videos, audio and visual aids to showcase what to do to help a baby or child who is injured or ill until professional medical support is available

In light of the current situation, Daisy First Aid is now offering online classes for parents and carers.

In order to provide financial support for the Daisy First Aid trainers all of whom are self-employed and have families to support, CEO Jenni Dunman has created an online solution that will not only help her trainers, who are unable to run their courses face to face during this time, but it will also teach critical lifesaving skills for parents and carers at a time when ambulance waiting times are extremely long and NHS are stretched to the limit.

“With the NHS pushed to the limit, ambulances taking hours and parents homeschooling,” said Dunman, “it’s so important that now more than ever families learn basic lifesaving skills. This is why Daisy First Aid have moved their classes online. We have a fun, interactive package with videos and quizzes to make sure you and your family are prepared should an illness or injury occur at home.”

The Daisy online package includes videos, audio and visual aids, designed specifically for parents and carers to give them the knowledge to help a baby or child who is injured or ill until professional medical support is available.

Daisy First Aid are also offering live online sessions for parents and children at home via Zoom video links. These classes are fun, educational and in line with the national curriculum requirements. These options are £20 and available by contacting a local Daisy trainer.
