Established in 2007, Raring2go! has grown into a formidable force, with a network of 50 dedicated and hardworking home-based editors.

Four times a year they produce an eye catching, highly informative A5 magazine, which provides local families with a definitive guide of what to do and where to go. Alongside the magazines is a fully supported and revenue generating website, which editors update and maintain via a central content management system.

Raring2go! managing director, Freddie St George, is passionate about the business and loves the freedom it gives its franchisees. He says: “Our franchisees work flexibly from home and blend their business lives around their families. All too often it’s the other way round.

“What’s even better is that our franchisees can take every school holiday off, so they can be with their families and save a small fortune on childcare costs.” days of coming back, I received my second inquiry, so I was already in full swing.”

Natalie says what she loves most about Extra Help is she can choose her working hours to fit around her family. She also loves that each day is Raring2go! is aiming to recruit more hardworking franchisees into its network.

“It’s definitely a recruitment process,” Freddie says. “We prefer to engage with our existing franchisees to play roles in this process too, so that we know we are bringing in new people who can work as part of a regional team, as well as independently by themselves.”

Raring2go! offers full training to incoming franchisees, a comprehensive start-up package, a mentoring/buddy scheme and unlimited support from head office.

Franchisees come from all walks of life and that’s what makes the network so balanced and diverse. The one thing a franchisee needs is the determination to quit the 9 to 5, leave the rat race and daily commute behind and build a better future for themselves and their family.
