Archer explained: “d&t is established in the market and helps franchises looking to invest and grow by reviewing projects from a 100 per cent independent perspective. By providing impartial reviews, planning services and capitalising on strong relationships with all the main banks, leasing companies and alternative funding providers, we can help to obtain tailored solutions for franchisees, franchisors and all other SMEs in general.

“With a team of over 40 staff all working together to put the needs of clients first, I am excited to join d&t which as a company, has a depth of resources that really sets it apart and in my view, places it in a unique and essential space in the market. With franchise owners often looking to invest their hard earned personal savings into their new business future, I am delighted to be working with such a focussed team where the priority is always on delivering the best outcome for our client.”

Archer joins d&t from another specialist finance firm where he was head of Franchise Finance Leasing Centre until earlier this year. During his career in finance which spans three decades, Archer also worked for a division of SNCF: France’s national state-owned railway company as UK commercial manager for leasing freight wagons and for Renault Banque where he also spent some time working across Europe, as well as being responsible for financial products in the UK. He originally trained at Lombard, cutting his teeth as an area finance manager and with spells working for Citroen Finance and Land Rover Finance under the wider Lombard portfolio of companies.

Dave Galvin QFP, managing director, d&t said: “We are now delighted to welcome Phil Archer who has extensive experience in the finance sector. Phil’s knowledge and expertise makes him well placed to help us expand our services for the benefit of our valued client base.”

“As a completely independent funding services company in the franchise industry, our aim is to help franchise owners maximise their potential and help them on their business journey.  With a strengthened team, we now look forward to this expansion of our services.”
