Nominations are now being accepted for the NatWest everywoman Awards 2006.

The awards were launched in 2003 to recognise and honour the UK’s successful female entrepreneurs, celebrating both the success of the business venture and the personal achievements of the women behind the business.

The award categories are as follows:

• Artemis Award for the most inspirational woman under 25 running a business.

• Demeter Award for the most inspirational woman between 26 and 35 running a business.

• Athena Award for the most inspirational woman between 36 and 49 running a business.

• Hera Award for the most inspirational woman over 50 running a business.

• NatWest everywoman Award, presented to one woman whom the judges feel has overcome significant challenges to achieve outstanding business success.

New for 2006 is the Spirit of everywoman Award, which will be presented to a woman who has proactively worked to change the landscape for women in business in the UK.

Closing date for the awards is August 29; the shortlisted finalists will be announced in October. The awards ceremony will take place on December 7 at the Millennium Hotel in London’s Mayfair.
