James Thomas, commercial manager at d&t, says: “If you’re standing still in business terms, considering rising costs, you’re actually going backwards. Therefore, you need to ensure every area of your franchise is working at maximum efficiency to continue pushing onwards and upwards.

“For this reason, we have included continuous improvement and growth strategies as subjects for discussion at our next event, which is the latest in a series of free Franchisor Academies specifically designed to arm franchisors with the tools needed to grow their networks.

“Our line-up is already heating up, with representatives from magazine publisher DC Thomson giving industry insights into elevating your franchise awareness through print, digital and exhibitions.

“There will also be presentations on both franchisor and franchisee exit planning, Nigel Dawson of easyStorage will be talking about his vast experience working with large franchise operations, plus there will be expert panels led by all the presenters on the day.”

The Franchise Academy offers a friendly, supportive environment to learn about real-life experiences from those who have been there and done it, according to James.

He adds: “The interactive format helps franchisors start to think differently about their own businesses and the feedback we have received from past participants has been particularly positive in relation to the information gained to help maximise franchise growth potential.”
