Andy Pitt (pictured) will be responsible for driving recruitment for the rapidly growing healthcare franchise, as well as managing its brand reputation within the industry.

He has over 10 years’ franchising experience and was previously national franchise manager at McDonald’s, as well as a British Franchise Association board member.

“I worked for McDonald’s for 22 years in total,” Andy explains.

“I started out as a store manager, before my role was expanded to supporting franchisees on a day-to-day basis, so I have a perspective from both sides of the fence.

“I’m delighted to be joining the team at Kare Plus and becoming part of a progressive business with a strong brand.

“As the franchise continues to grow and move forward, it is important there is the necessary support in place, both for the franchisees and for the franchise management team, and I’m ready for the new challenge.”

During Andy’s time as McDonald’s national franchise manager the company won the prestigious bfa Franchisee of the Year and Franchisor of the Year titles.

Kare Plus managing director Steve Welsh says: “We’re delighted to welcome on board someone of Andy’s calibre and track record at this exciting time for Kare Plus.

“Over the coming months we will be looking to expand the franchise network significantly in the light of several major new national account gains and will be making substantial investment in strengthening the franchisee support function.

“Andy has an important role to play in achieving both these key ambitions going forward.”
