Rob Barker, formerly of Precor and Peloton, joins as non-executive director

Rob Barker will join the international boutique fitness franchise, Trib3, as a non-executive director, bringing his experience to work closely with CEO Kevin Yates and the founders of Holmes Place, the Fisher family.

This news adds to what is already a hugely exciting period for Trib3 following its acceptance into the International Fitness Association, a body helping to prepare the company to expand into the US. With this in mind, Kevin agrees that Rob’s appointment has come at a great time.

He said: “It is rare to come across someone with the sort of breadth and depth of leadership experience that Rob has in large sporting goods and fitness businesses, so the whole executive team feels privileged to start working with him. Rob’s experience is truly global and will be invaluable in helping TRIB3 to strategise and structure its international expansion through franchising.”

Rob has experience across global markets, as president of Precor (one of the world’s largest suppliers of gym equipment), he was also an executive board member of Amer Sports and led Precor’s sale to Peloton. At Peloton, Rob was responsible for the Peloton connected fitness products and apps around the globe.
