An independent survey has highlighted the strength of the brand’s head-office support
Petpals has once again been recognised with the 5-Star Franchisee Satisfaction status by WorkBuzz, following the results of an independent survey measuring franchisee satisfaction across every aspect of the franchise relationship.
The WorkBuzz Franchisee Satisfaction Benchmark Survey is the UK’s leading independent franchise benchmarking programme. Conducted confidentially, it asks franchisees to rate their franchisor across key areas, including training, support, leadership, communication, culture and overall satisfaction. Franchisors achieving the required benchmark earn the coveted 5-Star Franchisee Satisfaction accreditation, providing prospective franchisees with independent reassurance that existing franchisees are highly satisfied with the support they receive.
In Petpals’ latest survey, the UK’s longest-established pet care franchise secured the prestigious 5-Star Franchisee Satisfaction status for the second year running. In fact, 100% of new or recently onboarded franchisees rated Petpals’ initial training and support positively. Other standout results demonstrated the positive culture across the Petpals network, with franchisees reporting that they:
Sharon Weston, head of franchising at WorkBuzz, said: “Petpals’ results, particularly the exceptional score for initial training and support together with the high levels of franchisee pride and confidence in head office, demonstrate a franchisor that is committed to building long-term success through strong relationships and continuous investment in its network.”
The results reflect Petpals’ continued investment in supporting franchisees through tailored business coaching, accredited pet care training, marketing guidance and regular opportunities to learn from industry experts. That commitment was demonstrated recently during Petpals’ online mid-year conference, where franchisees came together to hear the latest business updates, gain practical marketing advice and learn from a range of specialist guest speakers.
The conference featured a network update from Managing Director, Kevin Thackrah, alongside a presentation from Petpals’ Digital Marketer Katie Morris, exploring changing media consumption habits and practical ways to create engaging video content for social media. Franchisees also heard from PR specialist Sally Anne Butters from Rev PR, who shared some of Petpals’ most successful PR campaigns alongside advice on identifying and securing local media coverage.
Kevin Thackrah said: “Receiving independent recognition from our franchisees is so important to our team because it reflects the experiences of the people who know our business best. Those relationships are fundamental to our success and remain at the heart of everything we do.”
