Franchisors, franchisees and suppliers gathered under one roof to celebrate the winning brands of the AFA Awards 2019 this September

Held at the Jury’s Inn in Milton Keynes, the event was attended by 140 people, consisting of franchisors, franchisees, and suppliers from across various sectors.

Simon Chicken, sales director of The International Franchise Show, said: “The awards ceremony was a really well thought out organised and attended event. There was obviously a lot of love in the room, everybody I spoke to couldn’t praise the event – and the AFA – enough.”

The Approved Franchise Association (AFA) is passionate about providing first-rate support to the franchising sector, and there’s no better way to do so than by recognising and rewarding the biggest, brightest stars within it.

Joanne Aldridge, head of franchise for The Holiday Company and winner of the Best New Franchise Gold Award, was also delighted with the event. She said: “We are proud to have been awarded a Gold Accreditation for Best New Franchise, from the leading body in franchising accreditation. The AFA’s guidance and support has been invaluable, as we launched and grew our business. Their recognition of ethical franchising is a perfect partnership for us and our model.”
