The Runo Group is a new recruitment, business brokerage and training provider

Franchise professionals are ready to re-energise a working world rocked to its core by coronavirus. Excitingly, they pooled their expertise and established The Runo Group just weeks before the pandemic hit. Ironically, their timing couldn’t have been better for the scores of people now seeking a new challenge.

Thousands of people have lost their livelihoods or are facing redundancy. The protracted lockdown has also forced families countrywide to take stock and look for fresh ways in which they can improve their futures.

Portfolio of brands

The Runo Group has a portfolio of franchise brands - some new, some established - seeking committed and entrepreneurial people to set up their own businesses under its umbrella.

Today, you might be considering ploughing your own furrow and taking steps to become your own boss, while also feeling uncertain about making your move. Reassuringly, The Runo Group’s directors have the necessary experience to help you achieve your dream - especially if you would love to have a business backed by a great brand.

The Runo Group - a sister enterprise to Lincolnshire-based Franchise Resales - is headed by directors Andy Hulbert, Tony Mundella, Julie Taylor and Michael Bohan. Julie and Michael are also directors of Franchise Resales. The group’s other working shareholders are Angela Foreman and Emma Ozenbrook.

While Franchise Resales concentrates on helping people who may want to exit and sell their franchises for many different reasons, The Runo Group offers a wider range of complementary services.

Explore their ideas

Director Andy Hulbert says: “It’s marvellous to be able to offer people fresh hope at this extremely difficult time. Many who suddenly find themselves out of work may have privately dreamed of having their own business, but it’s only now that they have the chance to explore their ideas further.

“At the same time, the current economic climate is creating a raft of new and interesting opportunities.”

Director Tony Mundella says: “We’re no strangers to the franchise sector and we know of many franchisors who are looking for quality franchisees who have the necessary energy and enthusiasm to drive the growth of their brand by investing in their own franchise. That is why franchisee recruitment is one of our group’s key services.”

Colleague Angela Foreman deals with everything financial, while Emma Ozenbrook deals with enquiries from potential franchisees.

Emma happily chats to aspiring franchisees about the type of franchise they might be interested in and sends them brochures packed with essential information. When they want to take the next step into franchise ownership, a Runo Group director will provide personal support.

Essential services

Other services on offer include business brokerage, where people can tap into Runo’s expertise to help them buy or sell a business, which does not necessarily need to be a franchise.

The group also provides valuable training by way of The Institute of Leadership & Management certified programmes, which are designed to put the polish on franchisors’ and franchisees’ skills.

This professional training is an absolute must for new and experienced business owners to help them drive sales and get the best return on their business investment.
