EnviroVent is an innovative UK manufacturer and supplier of energy efficient and sustainable ventilation products that improve indoor air quality and control high humidity, which can lead to damp, condensation and mould problems in the home.

With over 30 years in business, EnviroVent is the UK’s leading expert in ventilation and provides long-term solutions to over 20,000 properties a year.

Simple philosophy

The company’s philosophy is simple - it aims to provide an outstanding service through the design, manufacture and expert installation and aftercare of its sustainable ventilation products and systems and improve indoor air quality.

This philosophy has helped EnviroVent to become the fastest growing domestic ventilation provider in the UK, creating hundreds of jobs across the country. It has big plans to keep that success going for many years to come and hopes to create many more opportunities as a result.

Consisting of 46 operating territories, the EnviroVent franchise network has been in operation since 2009. The opportunity is to provide the company’s solutions to homeowners, private landlords and the self build market.

The franchise owner network has grown to be hugely successful, with several territories generating in excess of £350,000 of sales per annum. Several franchise owners have acquired further areas after careful planning and further investment in staff, marketing, vehicles and training.

As an innovative UK manufacturer, EnviroVent should also be seen as an innovative franchisor too, with specialist systems and processes specific to its network’s needs.

The company has developed strong marketing channels, including advertising on mainstream TV channels for the past six years. This has proved to be successful in gaining business nationally for the network, while the local marketing strategies EnviroVent coaches and trains the franchise network to undertake are pivotal in their success.

Its in-house marketing team are also at the cutting edge of digital technology and provide support in getting the best out of local campaigns.

Continuous learning

EnviroVent helps franchise owners plan and grow through specialist support and continuous learning via its experienced business development managers. Each franchise owner and team are appointed a business manager, who supports them every step of the way.

Part of the company’s controlled growth plan for 2017 is to further develop its opportunity in the South Wales, Bolton and Cornwall areas and resell existing franchise businesses in the Essex and Edinburgh territories.

Do you get support and training?

Yes. We have regular business support meetings and excellent initial and ongoing support from EnviroVent. The support team are friendly, professional and always willing to help us all grow our businesses and sales.

Are there any downsides to being a franchise owner?

Being self-employed there is no set wage, but if you’re organised, prepared to work hard and ready to grow your business, you will get a fantastic reward for the effort you put in.

Would you recommend this opportunity?

Yes. I am passionate about what we do and the EnviroVent products, which are the best on the market - even our competitors agree. The people in the support team are great too and very friendly. One word of warning is that it’s not a part-time or lifestyle option. However, it’s flexible and so rewarding if you’re organised. Even with children, I can be a successful business owner.
