A number of high-profile local guests were in attendance at the launch, including the Mayor Gul Nawaz and Julie Howell, Councillor for the Orton Waterville Ward, where SureCare Peterborough’s headquarters are now based.

The launch follows the branch’s recent registration with the Care Quality Commission. This allows SureCare Peterborough to provide personal care and support to people in their own homes.

SureCare Peterborough’s newly appointed registered care manager, Kayleigh Cooper, was also at the launch as she will play an integral role in the franchise’s operations. Through her CQC registration, it’s Cooper’s job to ensure that the team of care workers deliver consistently high standards and quality of care.

Speaking at the launch, franchise owner Rattan said: “Today is an extremely proud day for me and my team. We have worked tirelessly to get to this point. I can’t thank my family and friends enough for their ongoing support and a massive thank you to my registered care manager, Kayleigh Cooper.”

Looking ahead to what the future holds, she continued: “We aim to be one of Peterborough’s leading providers of personal home care and support. We will do this by employing and training care staff to the highest quality standards and also providing respect, encouragement and development for all that work at SureCare Peterborough. We envisage being a large employer within Peterborough and our aim is to have at least 30 fully trained care staff by March 2020 with a further 30 hired and trained before next Christmas.”
