My franchise story: We made our investment back in just four months

Gemma Green and Mike Corbridge got off to a flying start with their Spoton.net franchise

Business partners Gemma Green and Mike Corbridge were originally it’seeze website customers before starting their franchise with Spoton.net.

Gemma was “so impressed with how easy the editing system was” and the “standard of web design” developed by the Spoton.net in-house team that she decided to find out more about the company’s business model through one of its franchisees.

Keen to live more flexible lifestyles while using their backgrounds in digital marketing, Gemma and Mike visited the Spoton.net head office for a discovery day to find out more about the franchise.

They were looking for the opportunity to do what they love doing by selling and marketing websites, but to also have the flexibility to work from home.

Gemma and Mike knew instantly that a Spoton.net franchise was right for them after their discovery day - so much so that they made the decision to join the franchise the following day.

Having only completed their week’s training with the Spoton.net team in the middle of March 2020 - shortly before the country went into lockdown due to COVID-19 - Gemma and Mike have achieved remarkable results, with eight website sales in their first month of trading.

And in just four months they made their franchise investment back in full. 

Together, they have proven that hard work off the back of comprehensive training - even in uncertain times - really pays off when you’re marketing a product in such high demand.
