Mobility and stairlift retailer Ableworld has reported a 12.5 per cent increase in sales for their financial year as part of growth strategy.

Ableworld’s growth has been propelled by its growth strategy which has seen relocations, a new franchise opening in Leeds, and enhancements to customer experience.

Three stores in Burton, Reading, and Wrexham have relocated to larger premises to improve accessibility and convenience for customers.

Additionally, a store has opened in Thatcham, Berkshire, while the franchise is also set to launch in Leeds under the ownership of franchisee Andy Gorrie.

“It’s been an exciting year for Ableworld, marked by significant expansions and investments in our operations,” said Mike Williams, managing director at Ableworld.

“We’ve introduced new systems that are nearing completion, strengthening our commitment to delivering exceptional services and products to our valued customers.”

Williams also announced that the upon opening the Leeds franchise, Ableworld is looking to expand its footprint further.

The franchise is currently recruiting several potential franchisees to meet Ableworld’s goal of opening at least two more stores in the next financial year.

This plan will mean the Ableworld franchise will have 43 locations across the UK.
