Anytime Fitness’ Fleet franchise sets global pre-sale record

In its 17-year history, this is the first time an Anytime Fitness franchise has opened its doors with 1,396 members already signed up

Owned by Gurpreet Singh, the Hampshire-based franchise has become the 163rd UK Anytime Fitness outlet, with the ground-breaking figure of 1,396 surpassing the previous record of 1,300 members, held by a club in Australia.

Gurpreet was quick to praise his team and family for the support. “This achievement wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible work of the in-club team at Anytime Fitness Fleet,” said Gurpreet. “The team at the support office in the UK is world class and their openness to innovation, willingness to listen and support, as well as their desire to see the franchisee succeed is the reason we are achieving so much in the UK. If you are in franchising or thinking about it, believe me when I say this, Anytime Fitness UK is genuinely delivering on their promises.

This year has been a significant one for Anytime Fitness with the unveiling of a new club design and shift in brand positioning from convenience to coaching.

Anytime Fitness UK is looking for more franchisees with the aim to open 200 clubs by the end of this year. The brand has recently appointed CBRE to advise on all property acquisitions and help franchisees both with securing property locations and negotiating competitive commercial terms to drive down costs.
