The fitness franchise celebrated a successful 2022 at its annual conference

Body Fit Training (BFT), Australia’s fastest-growing fitness franchise, recently hosted its two-day annual conference on the Gold Coast in Australia.

Themed the ‘Power of Different’, over 400 franchisees and suppliers from around the world reunited to celebrate and reflect on a significant year and share plans for further stepping up their operations in 2023 and beyond.

The conference offered valuable insights and encouragement to all participants through keynote speaker Phill Nosworthy, an expert on leadership and achieving high performance. His talk left attendees feeling motivated and inspired to strive for even greater success in the future.

“We were excited to bring our global network of franchisees together for our fifth annual conference,” says Cameron Falloon, founder and director of BFT.

“This event was an opportunity for us to celebrate our achievements, connect and collaborate with our franchisees, and encourage one another to achieve even more in the future.

“We chose the theme ‘Power of Different’ as it resonates with our brand and community of franchisees, as well as being the driving force behind our success to date.

“BFT is all about marking our differences, embracing diversity and recognising that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to fitness.

“By championing individuality and innovation, we’ve created a global community of like-minded franchisees who share our passion for health and fitness.”

The conference included early morning group workouts for all delegates and breakout sessions, which allowed franchisees to choose their own adventure specific to what they needed help with or wanted to upskill.

Attendees also had the chance to participate in interactive sessions and engage with BFT’s leadership team, including Cameron, during a year-in-review session where the team discussed the strategy for the brand moving forward.

However, the awards ceremony was the highlight of the conference, recognising and celebrating the achievements of BFT franchisees in various categories, including Franchisee of the Year, Best First Year Franchise, Trainer of the Year, Brand Ambassador of the Year and Most Engaged Community of the Year.

The winner of the 2022 Global Franchise of the Year Award was BFT franchisee Chris Taylor from Fairfield, Australia. “I’m super honoured and humbled to win this prestigious accolade,” says Chris.

“As a team, it’s about doing the small things well, and going the extra one percent, which is made pretty easy when you’re impacting people’s lives for the better!

“The BFT network is really impressive so I would like to say a massive thanks to all of you in this room, and for all of you that have paved the way before us.”

Cameron adds: “We are proud of the hard work and dedication of our franchisees, who have helped make BFT the success it is today. The awards ceremony was our way of recognising their contributions and celebrating their achievements.”
