After a challenging year, FASTSIGNS is proud to have won the Best Signage and Communications Award at the Global Franchise Awards, for an impressive third consecutive year

As a franchise committed to the production of signs, graphics and visual communications, 2020 proved to be a pivotal year. FASTSIGNS’ products were instrumental to its customers when providing information and concise directions in an uncertain and rapidly changing world. For a global brand with over 750-plus franchise centres operating around the world, it is no small feat to be able to stand out from the crowd.

It was announced on Friday, 30 April, that as a global franchise brand, FASTSIGNS had received the Best Signage and Communications Award.

As John Davies, FASTSIGNS UK managing director explains: “We are so proud of our network! 2020 was the year for signage to come to the forefront, as the public suddenly needed clear direction, from signage experts, in the face of the pandemic. Here, at FASTSIGNS UK, we’ve had some exceptional opportunities to provide crucial signage for businesses in the UK – from hospitals, to vaccination centres, schools and the high street. It was a challenging year for our industry and I am incredibly proud of FASTSIGNS’ win.”

The Global Franchise Awards involves brands from around the world, vying for international recognition. They are judged by a panel of Franchise Associations from around the world, including Pip Wilkins, CEO of the British Franchise Association and Robert Cresati, former CEO of the International Franchise Association in America.

Speaking about the judging process, James Fell, editor of Global Franchise Magazine explains: “The Global Franchise Awards 2021 had to take into consideration the effects of COVID-19 on the global business community. Reading through applications, it was astonishing to see the support, ingenuity and innovation franchisors provided to their franchise networks over the last year.”

Catherine Monson, CEO of FASTSIGNS International says: “This is the third year FASTSIGNS has won this award and I am so thrilled. Our focus has always been on our franchisees so, during the pandemic, we partnered closely with them to help drive sales, pivot to new products and services and be the very best we could be. Throughout 2021, we will continue to provide world-class leadership and support.”
