Molly Maid’s close support and strength of relationships has led to the domestic cleaning specialist being recognised at the Best Franchise Awards

As you might imagine, during a global health pandemic services that clean and sanitise people’s homes have been in high demand. And professional home cleaning specialist Molly Maid says this demand is set to continue well into the future.

While the cleaning industry has been fortunate that government guidance has allowed it to continue to operate through all the lockdowns, it’s only because of Molly Maid’s HomeSafe procedures that franchise owners and staff members have felt confident they could clean safely and, equally, that customers have continued to trust the company to clean their homes.

HomeSafe has been the cornerstone of Molly Maid’s operations since early into the first lockdown and has even been recognised by government as a case study for how businesses can employ COVID safe procedures for their workforce.

Winning ways

Even though it’s proud of how quickly HomeSafe has been embraced by everyone in the organisation, Molly Maid is even prouder of how everyone at the company has worked together to overcome the huge challenges that businesses around the country have been facing.

It’s without a doubt that this close support and strength of relationships is the reason why Molly Maid made the finals of the 2020/21 Best Franchise Awards, with one of the highest franchisee feedback scores of 90 per cent, propelling it to a second 5 Star Franchisee Satisfaction Award.

Molly Maid says it was overwhelmed by the positive responses from franchisees and has selected one to share with you: “During lockdown they produced support leaflets, letters to email customers and a clear way forward to help get back to business and helped with gaining bank funding to get us all through. I really feel without their support and being a franchisee with Molly Maid I would not have survived this pandemic.”

Having achieved an exceptionally high franchisee satisfaction score, Molly Maid was also recognised as being in the top three for businesses exceeding £10 million in annual sales, alongside other high-quality franchisors such as TaxAssist Accountants and Right at Home.

Supporting franchise owners

Aaron Watson, Molly Maid director of business development, says: “We’ve always believed that our most important priority and role is supporting our franchise owners to manage and grow a successful business, so to receive this recognition, this year especially, is quite a distinction.

“To also be recognised as being in the top three UK franchisors in the Best Franchise Awards in our category is icing on the cake.”
