Founded in 2007, Wagging Tails' founder, Lisa Suswain, franchised the business in 2010

Taylor Made Franchising owner, Darren Taylor, has purchased a part share of the dog care franchise and will be supporting the franchise’s growth through his experienced head office team. The group now owns, or part-owns, nine franchise businesses with over 100 franchisees and an annual turnover in excess of £8m.

Darren said: “I have known Lisa through the franchise circuit for many years and have watched her grow Wagging Tails into a successful, well-respected franchise. As a dog owner myself, I know how incredibly important it is to feel happy with the care your dog is receiving while you are away; equally, post-COVID I think owners are becoming even more discerning about the health and wellbeing of their dogs, so I have absolutely no doubt that we will be seeing great things with Wagging Tails over the next 12 months. My team at Taylor Made Franchising are experts in their field, highly experienced and ready to help Lisa take her business to the next level. Together we will build Wagging Tails to be bigger and better than before, providing an ethical, successful franchise opportunity for her dog-loving franchisees.”

Wagging Tails, founded in 2007 by Lisa Suswain, offers UK dog owners a home-based alternative to kennels. Lisa franchised the business in 2010. She said: “Although COVID was tough for us and for many of our franchisees, I’m delighted to say now that business has never been better. The country is returning to holidays abroad and our franchisees are seeing dramatic upturns in business, as they respond to a surge in demand for our premium dog care services.”

About the partnership, she added: “I am really excited about partnering with Darren and his team at Taylor Made Franchising. I still see huge growth potential in Wagging Tails and want to benefit from the support structure Taylor Made Franchising will give me. I started this business with a tiny baby in my arms and feel now it is time to join forces with a larger organisation, to offer me the support I need, to grow the business to its full potential. I am receiving enquiries every day for new franchisees and I look forward to welcoming many more to the network very soon.”
