50 per cent of homeowners decided to have work done on their homes during 2020, finds Rated People’s Home Improvement Trend Report

While many businesses struggled during the pandemic, the home improvement sector experienced one of its busiest years on record. Of course, it is too soon to say for sure for 2021, but given trade levels so far and the number of new franchise partners joining this sector, it’s shaping up to be another bumper year.

For example, the unique way in which Granite & TREND works means that it can offer something markedly different from its competition. Innovative products, such as its Top that Fits on Top, gives its customers a way to transform their kitchens and bathrooms without the need for all the usual mess, disruption and cost that usually comes with it. By helping customers to makeover the most important rooms in the house, rather than start over, Granite & TREND has a major advantage over its competition.

According to Rated People’s Home Improvement Trend Report, on average, around 50 per cent of homeowners decided to have work done on their homes during 2020. Ten key areas of the UK saw a particularly large rise in spending, with an increase of more than 15 per cent in some areas.

Although Granite & TREND Transformation already has 60 locations around the country, where franchisees are building their own successful businesses, much of the UK is still open to opportunity. So, the big question is: where is business booming the most and is there an opportunity to run your own Granite & TREND franchise?

1. Birmingham 53%
2. Glasgow 53%
