The franchise fee of £19,950 (plus VAT) includes £5,000 worth of stock and equipment, meaning franchisees can get started in their new venture with an investment of less than £10,000.
This price includes the franchise licence, bespoke training, launch programme and the Barista Premium launch pack. An established franchisee can expect to make profits of between £30,000 and £50,000 a year (based on the operation of one coffee van), dependent on their working efficiency and personal goals.
The mobile coffee van itself is a Mercedes Vito conversion, which has been designed for efficiency and ease of use. Every van is converted by the company at its head office workshop. The van is usually purchased using a hire purchase agreement over a five-year term.
