Musica is a Social Enterprise with a mission to support the dementia journey through music. Our main service is focussed on providing musical activities within care homes – reminiscence-based music workshops, live music performances, care home choirs, and training opportunities for care staff. We use an evidence-based approach, using current arts and healthcare research to inform our services, and to work with care homes to embed music into their care provision.

As a team, we work hard to help Care Providers meet the ever-increasing demand for quality activities and cognitive engagement within their homes – and with an ageing population, and the Care Industry predicted to almost double by 2040*. We are looking for individuals or couples that are wanting to build a business to suit their lifestyle and family commitments, and meets with their own values of wanting to help older adults live every day to the full.

We’re looking for people with have a range of musical abilities and a warm and friendly personality. You’ll be ambitious and willing to work hard and if you have managerial and/or sales experience, well that’s all the better! The beauty of our music franchise opportunity however is that we will teach you everything you need to know about running a business, gaining clients, managing your accounts etc. so really, the only ‘must’ is a passion for music and the benefits it can bring for people living with Dementia, and older adults.

Firstly, we work with you to understand the level of income you want from the business, and then we create a plan together to get you there as quickly as possible. Our music franchise can be run as a full-time business with freelance Facilitators helping you to maximise income, or equally, Musica suits people who are looking for a second income or need flexible working hours.
