How does the Cakes & Bakes franchise model work?

There are two franchise models available to choose from depending on your goals and budget is.

Cakes & Bakes Shop
This franchise model allows you to take orders for decorative cakes in your local area. The company supplies the baked sponges and all the ingredients in order to decorate your customer’s cakes to perfection, whatever the occasion! A 700 sqft premises is required for a Cakes & Bakes Shop franchise. The franchise fee for the shop is £10,000 and the package fee is £140,000, giving a total of £150,000

Cakes & Bakes Kiosk
The Kiosk model is only available for franchisees with a shop model franchise. Cake connoisseurs can grab a gift or bite to eat on the go as the Cakes & Bakes Kiosk is perfect for shopping centres and food halls. The franchise fee for a kiosk is £10,000 and the package fee is £70,000, giving a total of £80,000.

What training and support does Cakes & Bakes provide franchise owners?

Owning a Cakes & Bakes franchise includes:
• The rights to own and operate a Cakes & Bakes franchise, to use the trademarks and tradename, in a defined territory, for a period of 5 years or 10 years for a regional development franchise

What are the Cakes & Bakes franchise terms of agreement and renewal?

Usually for a fixed term, both parties are committed from a specified date, and the rights for renewal will be clearly set out in the agreement and should not be prohibitive. Franchisees may renew the franchise agreement after the initial term for a further period of five or 10 years. Cakes & Bakes don’t charge a renewal fee, but franchisees will need to pay the sum of £500 for the costs in producing a new franchise agreement.
