Multi-unit franchisee, Jed Chamberlain, aims to reach £1.8m next year
Loft storage solutions franchise, Access4Lofts, had its first franchisee turnover £1m in one year after he launched the franchise just over three years ago in 2018.
Jed Chamberlain, who owns the Guildford, Farnborough, Reading and Crawley franchises, bought his first franchise in January 2019 and quickly followed up his acquisitions with Farnborough in 2019 and Reading in 2020.
Graham Ormesherm director and co-owner of Access4Lofts said: “I interviewed Jed for the franchise and knew immediately that he had the business background and skills to be a huge success. Having been a franchisee myself I could see that Jed had the drive and ambition to grow the franchise. The only shock is how quickly he has done it!”
Jed now employs 13 staff and has nine vans on the road and his business continues to go from strength to strength. Not one to rest on his laurels, Jed added that his target for the next year is £1.8m and he is already well on the way to achieving those numbers.
Jed said: “I had looked into several different franchise opportunities but immediately knew that Access4Lofts was the right one. The systems and support initially attracted me and both have helped me to grow my business.”
Jed’s advice to anyone thinking of investing in an Access4Lofts franchise is “do it now before they all go!”
Although Jed is Access4Lofts’ first £1m turnover franchisee, he will not be the last. Almost 20 per cent of its network will have turnover in excess of £500,000 and 75 per cent will be in excess of £250,000 in the next 12 months.
