Over the years, DE Photo photographers have captured the best pictures from more than 40,000 school, sporting and corporate events through its 45 branches.

How does the DE Photo franchise model work?

A DE Photo franchise provides investors with a complete and proven sports and event operation. Essentially, a DE Photo franchise offers all the essential elements for a keen photographer to launch and develop their own DE Photo business in an exclusive territory.

A franchisee’s role is to photograph events. They are equipped with all the gear needed to photograph, print and sell their images on the day. A motivated event photographer can often take between 500 and 2,000 photos, which are displayed during the event as proof sheets on a computer or plasma screen for people to browse throughout the day.

As well as providing high-quality prints, photographs can also be turned into wall art, or a range of personalised gifts, such as keyrings, fridge magnets, placemats, mugs
and pencil cases.

The total cost of the franchise includes instruction in setting up the business, comprehensive training and a substantial stock of consumables. Franchisees will need their own professional camera, lenses and photographic and processing equipment, which usually costs around £23,000, plus a vehicle, for which they need to earmark around £10,000.
