Thomas Cleaning purchase means franchisor now owns five brands

Taylor Made Franchising has acquired Thomas Cleaning, bringing the total number of franchises owned by the multi-brand franchisor to five.

Thomas Cleaning was founded by Richard Thomas (pictured left) in 1993 and was franchised in July 2015. It currently has 14 franchisees.

As well as domestic and commercial cleaning, franchisees clean carpets, upholstery, ovens and provide an end-of-tenancy cleaning service.

There will be no immediate changes to the operation of the business.

Darren Taylor, managing director of Taylor Made Franchising (pictured right), says: “We’re delighted to welcome Thomas Cleaning into the Taylor Made Franchising family.

“The franchise is a great fit with the others in the group and we look forward to meeting all the franchisees soon.

“We’re actively looking for more franchises to add to our portfolio and would encourage any franchisors who may be interested to get in touch.”

Of the sale, former owner Richard Thomas said: “It’s been an amazingly easy and pleasant process selling the business to Taylor Made Franchising.

“Darren is a really nice guy, very approachable and the whole process has been quick, easy and painless.”

Taylor Made Franchising also owns commercial vehicle cleaning business PVC Vendo, StumpBusters, Wilkins Chimney Sweep and Traas Pest Control.
