Certain skills are transferable, and Jeremy Taylor used his sales experience and knowledge to sell kitchen makeovers as a Dream Doors franchisee

Being made redundant is never easy. However, Jeremy used this opportunity to look for something that gave him unlimited earning potential whilst enjoying the support of an established national brand.

And that is when he came across Dream Doors, a kitchen makeover company. “Coming from a sales background was the link to this business for me,” says Jeremy.

Shortly after being made redundant he initially looked for roles similar to the one he had, however, he wanted something more. “I think for the last 12 to 18 months of my job I hadn’t been loving it for a multitude of reasons and I fancied doing something different.,” he continues. “I was looking for a ready-made model and narrowed down my selection to franchises where I could see that the support and growth was good, evidence of profit was there, and the staff were supportive.”

After a substantial amount of due diligence, Jeremy chose Dream Doors franchise because of its “obvious success”.

He explains: “The growth that it’s shown, and the quality of advertising is clear. It obviously has very strong earning potential—substantial in fact, when you dig into the accounts and talk to the franchisees.”
