Rev PR appoints communications manager

Georgina Watkins joins franchise specialist from franchisor Neighbourly

Rev PR has appointed Georgina Watkins in the newly created role of communications manager.

Georgina, who has over 20 years’ hands-on PR experience, joins the fast growing business from franchisor Neighbourly, where she spent the last three years promoting its home service brands and network of over 150 UK franchisees.

Previous positions have included Reuters, global PR agency Ketchum and TrustMark, a government scheme for tradespeople. 

Georgina says: “I’m delighted to join the team at Rev PR and play a key role in helping our clients return to growth and profitability now that lockdown measures are beginning to ease.

“It’s hugely important right now for franchisors to be focused on building trust and credibility for their brands, rather than just trying to push sales messages, given what most have been through.

“The future is really exciting - not only being back in an agency, but working across so many leading franchise brands.”

Since March 2020, Rev PR has doubled its client base and boosted its workforce with three new appointments in the past six months.
