Prior to becoming an ActionCOACH franchise partner in July 2007, Parag Prasad was a financial controller at BT Wholesale and BT Openreach.

What made parag invest?

He explains: “I was hugely motivated to make a tangible difference to the lives of business owners, not just be a faceless cog in a corporate engine. I had been employed by large corporates ever since graduating and going out on my own was a daunting prospect because I had no experience of running my own business.”

When Parag received an email from ActionCOACH, the company’s business model appealed to him and the seed was sown.

What’s it been like in practice?

“The initial and ongoing training is excellent,” Parag says. “The sheer volume of best practice and educational information is unprecedented. There is always someone you can turn to for help - I could not be happier.

“I now also have a substantial property portfolio that will provide us with the income to live our desired lifestyle.”

Parag understands that time is more precious than money and his focus has been on building his ActionCLUB; this group coaching programme leverages Parag’s time, enabling him to help 40 local businesses build and grow through just over seven hours of coaching a week on average.
