In under a year as a Promedica24 regional franchise partner, Mark Muller has helped over 61 families and couples with their support needs
Mark Muller joined Promedica24 in August 2015, covering areas around Dorset, including Bournemouth and the New Forest.
Promedica24 offers a live-in care service providing one-to-one companionship and care for the elderly from home. There are currently over 100 franchisees in the UK, Poland and Germany providing care to over 3,500 clients network-wide.
Community
In just under a year, Mark has helped over 61 families and couples with advanced support needs such as dementia care, disability and end-of-life care to simply providing companionship and support with everyday tasks. The company’s core value - there’s no place like home - continues to make a difference to Mark’s community.
One of the main challenges Mark faced was encouraging people to consider live-in care. However, when presented with the option of going into residential care, where generally there is one carer to 10 clients, regimented food times and scheduled routines, the alternative of one-to-one personalised care from home was the preferred option.
Mark says: “You need to persevere with the business and be responsive to your clients’ needs - delivering quality care is always the number one priority.”
Almost at the end of his first year of trading, Mark has 32 contracts - 50 per cent ahead of his business plan. Typically, a franchise partner with this number of contracts can expect to take home £7,000 a month net profit.
