How To Run A Bin Cleaning Business

Vip bin cleaning exhibited at a trade fair in poland recently and came away with the zloty gold medal for its pick up mounted bin cleaning machinery

VIP Bin Cleaning, the environmentally friendly waste container cleaning specialist, exhibited at the Poleko International Trade Fair of Municipal Technologies in Poland last October. This event, which is the largest of its kind in Poland, provides various types of clients, including municipalities and waste management companies, with the opportunity to meet with prospective contractors.

The show was an ideal opportunity for VIP Bin Cleaning to promote its services and demonstrate some of its new and existing machinery to prospective customers.

The company was represented by Tomasz Borkowski from VIP Bin Cleaning Poland, along with managing director Mark Harvey and Daniel Browne, general manager of VIP Bin Cleaning, who both attended from the UK.

### Prestigious Award ###

VIP Bin Cleaning received positive feedback, which culminated in its new pick-up mounted bin cleaning machinery winning the Zloty Gold Medal 2014. This prestigious award recognises companies that can demonstrate innovation and product excellence with regard to environmental best practices.

The winner is selected by an expert panel of judges and chosen from almost 500 products from various companies attending the trade fair. The Zloty Gold Medal 2014 is a symbol of significant accomplishment, which is recognised by the state, local authorities, professional associations, businesses and the media.

It was presented to Tomasz Borkowski and Mark Harvey at the opening ceremony of the trade fair on October 14 by Dr Maciej Grabowski, Poland’s minister of the environment; Dr Andrzej Byrt, president of the International Poznan Fair; and Marek Sozański, the chairman of the panel of judges.

The awards ceremony was broadcast on Polish television. In addition, the VIP Bin Cleaning machinery was filmed by a Polish television news programme and is due to be showcased on Poland’s version of The Gadget Show.

VIP Bin Cleaning says that attending the exhibition was one of the most important decisions the company has made. The reaction and feedback it has received from prospective clients has already led to the business acquiring substantial orders and contracts.

Furthermore, the information and experience gained from meetings held with municipalities and waste management companies, along with the publicity VIP Bin Cleaning will receive as a result of winning the award, will be invaluable to the company, its franchisees and its reputation.

In order to meet this increase in demand, VIP Bin Cleaning has designed a range of new cleaning machinery that will enable its franchisees and company-owned operations to deliver the professional service customers have come to expect.

This machinery ranges from manual and semiautomatic to automatic and automatic computeraided cleaning systems. All can be adapted and built into mobile trailers or mounted on pick-up vehicles. They can also be adapted to suit the needs of clients who require on-site static cleaning systems.

The machinery is manufactured in accordance with the British Standards Institution, ISO standards and CE approval, along with the quality assurance and accreditations associated with VIP Bin Cleaning.

VIP Bin Cleaning has been established in the UK since 1997 and has evolved from being a domestic wheelie bin cleaning company to now being recognised as the world’s leading waste container cleaning specialist. The systems, processes and support structures VIP Bin Cleaning has implemented, along with the knowledge gained during 18 years in the industry and its recognisable brand, places it in a strong position.

The company and its franchisees are able to clean all types and sizes of bins and waste containers, both in the commercial and domestic sectors. They are also able to work with nearly all types of customers to ensure their cleaning requirements are delivered professionally in accordance with any regulations and to assist clients with any problems that may arise.

### Knowledge Sharing ###

VIP Bin Cleaning has franchisees across the UK, as well as master licence holders and operations covering Australia, South Africa, California, Canada, Botswana and Poland. One of the major strengths of the company is that, by having franchisees across the UK and master license holders in different countries, each franchisee and master license holder is able to learn from each other and share their knowledge, which in turn helps the development of the business nationally and internationally.

VIP Bin Cleaning is witnessing a growing demand for its services around the world, including the UK, which gives some of the company’s single-unit franchisees the opportunity to expand into multi-vehicle operations. VIP Bin Cleaning is also looking to recruit area development franchisees who are keen to develop the business over a larger geographical area.
