Diamond Home Support 5 Star Franchisee Satisfaction Award

Diamond Home Support 5 Star Franchisee Satisfaction Award

Diamond Home Support receives thumbs-up from franchisees in independent survey

Diamond Home Support, the cleaning, gardening and home help franchise, has achieved the prestigious 5 Star Franchisee Satisfaction Award following a recent independent survey of the company’s franchisees.

Smith+Henderson, the organisation that runs the awards, had this to say: “We are delighted to award 5 Star Franchisee Satisfaction to Diamond Home Support.

“What makes this award so special is it’s based on positive feedback from their franchisees. We asked these to complete a confidential survey about their franchise ownership experience and overall Diamond Home Support was rated better than the franchise industry average across all five of the key areas we measure, including franchisee relations and training and support.

“While nothing guarantees that a particular franchise is a good fit for you or you will be successful, franchisors like Diamond Home Support that have recently been awarded 5 Star Franchisee Satisfaction status are a good place to start.”

Survey results

In the survey, 100 per cent of franchisees voted initial training as good or better (67 per cent voted it as excellent). 98 per cent said head office cared about and responded to the issues that are important to franchisees. 98 per cent said they were treated fairly and with respect. 98 per cent trust the franchisor’s leadership and 94 per cent said they would recommend the franchise to others. All these results were well above industry benchmark averages.

The award comes on the back of a successful start to 2018 for this franchise business. Eight new franchisees have joined the network so far this year, with more in the pipeline.

Andrew Watton, Diamond Home Support’s managing director, has welcomed the influx of new franchisees this year: “It is always good to have new blood in the network and this year we have been joined by a number of very talented individuals, who are already beginning to break records for early performance.”

Start-up fee

The Diamond Home Support franchise has a low start-up fee of just £2,495 (plus VAT). Established in 2011, the business has grown rapidly. Although the start-up fee is low, the franchise package does not lack content. It includes full training, an initial six-month marketing campaign and ongoing support throughout the lifetime of the business.

Domestic cleaning has seen a growth in demand over the past six years. 24 per cent more people now have a cleaner compared to 2011. In most parts of the country that means one in 10 now have a cleaner and in London that figure is even higher.

Families and working professionals are turning, in increasing numbers, to domestic cleaning services to ‘buy back’ quality time that would otherwise be lost to chores around the house. Many now see this as a necessity. It has become the norm.

The home help market is also growing at a fast rate and is set to continue to do so due to our ageing population. By 2025 it’s predicted that over 20 per cent of the population will be over the age of 65. That is a key client group of Diamond Home Support’s home help services.

Earning projections for the business are £25,000 in year two and £40,000-plus in year three. But these are realistic projections that can be exceeded with the right focus and time availability.

The business is based on a reliable model, which can be operated from home and part-time. It is flexible and can fit around family and work commitments where necessary.

Does what it promises

Existing franchisees clearly love the business. Catherine in Calderdale said: “The Diamond Home Support franchise does exactly what it promises and is great value for your money.

“Andrew, the franchisor, is friendly and approachable and will give great advice when asked for help. The business model is excellent and most importantly it works. The initial cost is relatively cheap compared to most and you do not have to buy expensive laptops or other equipment to get going.

“I love everything about this franchise and have never looked back to the hectic corporate world I used to be involved in.”

Ed and Julie, based in Leicestershire, say: “The Diamond Home Support franchise is an excellent opportunity to build a solid local business that’s in high demand. If you follow the processes laid out in the manuals, watch the training videos and employ the recommended marketing and recruitment processes, you can’t go wrong.

“The support from head offi ce is excellent and I can thoroughly recommend Diamond Home Support to anyone who is looking to build a long-term business with excellent residual income.”

Finally, Connie works the Norwich area and has recently signed for a second five-year term.

She says: “I have no hesitation in recommending the Diamond Home Support franchise.

“Running my own small business allows me to work from home, have the flexibility of choosing the hours I wish to work and have a better life/ work balance.

“My franchisor is 110 per cent behind all franchisees, supports each and every one of us and is proactive at helping to maintain the business, grow the business and ensure it goes from strength to strength.”
