Cafe2U plans to make 2020 a landmark year for the mobile coffee brand
Cafe2U is the UK’s premier mobile coffee business. Since 2004, the company has been providing its customers with a welcome break to their working day and a gourmet coffee experience that simply cannot be recreated in the workplace.
Cafe2U’s growing network of almost 100 vans serves thousands of happy customers every single day in nontraditional locations all over the UK.
That said, 2020 has not been the year any of us predicted. Many businesses, including Cafe2U UK, spoke about their ‘2020 vision’ and plans for making it a landmark year for them. Already halfway through the year, Cafe2U has managed to not only press ahead with those plans, it has also adapted to the testing circumstances of COVID-19 and is now stronger than ever.
Firstly, the company will have invested heavily in its green credentials, building on the ongoing research into recyclable cups and, following its recent trial, is moving from diesel to battery power. Cafe2U says it’s determined to lead the way in this field and will be a key focus for the company in the years to come.
Secondly, Cafe2U is excited to have launched its customer app. This investment is directly for the benefit of franchisees, allowing them to engage with their customers like never before.
The app alerts customers to where the vans are and notifies them when they arrive, features a digital loyalty card and allows customers to see the latest offers and drinks available. Delivering this state-ofthe- art technology is just one part of the tools Cafe2U develops to make franchisees’ businesses so successful.
Cafe2U has also rolled out a brand refresh, taking the look and feel of everything, from website to cups to uniforms, to the next level. The company has worked with a team of design experts to ensure the brand represents where it is as a business in 2020, leading the way in both the coffee industry and franchising as a whole.
However, most importantly, Cafe2U has seen the business and its franchisees adapt to these trying times in a way that will make the business stronger than ever before.
Supporting the workforce
The company’s team of coffee vans have been taking hot drinks to hospitals and other similar sites, ensuring key workers have their coffee as they continue fulfilling roles that are critically important at this time.
In addition, franchisees have been working in their local communities to ensure those working from home still have access to their favourite, award winning coffee.
Cafe2U would like to thank all its existing franchise partners for their efforts and looks forward to welcoming future franchise partners in the coming months.
