Becoming a franchisee in September 2004, by 2012 Shilpa owned three Pitman Training centres - in High Holborn and Notting Hill in London and Manchester. In April 2013 she purchased another centre in Croydon, increasing its turnover in just eight months and making the centre more profitable and successful as a result.

Operating her franchise empire from her centre in High Holborn, Shilpa continues to manage her other centres remotely. She also sits on the Pitman Training Advisory Council, which is entrusted with representing other franchise partners in her region to ensure their voices are heard in the decision making and reviewing process.

She also supported a recent nationwide Pitman Training campaign, which saw members of head office travel the country in a branded VW camper van, visiting six cities to launch the company’s first app, called Career MOT. Dedicating this amount of time and support to the franchise network is highly commendable for a franchise partner with multiple centres and teams to manage.

Shilpa continuously has her finger on the pulse. She is adept at sharing best practice at Pitman Training’s regional franchise meetings and continues to assist with the overall development of the network - sharing tips for success and sales advice.
