There are sessions for parents with their babies and children, teens, family groups, and adults.

The instructors are all highly experienced and, in addition to studio classes for customers, train yoga teachers in various types and disciplines of yoga through professional training workshops and courses. These classes equip individuals to teach the various yogic and other disciplines.

The amount of £12,000 + VAT is required as the initial investment or deposit. However, the fee is £37,000 + VAT for the complete franchise package. This fee covers:

• The license to operate a studio under the Go Yoga brand
• Initial / induction training
• Assistance with the selection of a suitable site for your studio
• Support and guidance with fitting out your new studio
• Equipment in the form of wall art and a music system
• Marketing materials you can use to promote your studio in your area
• Business shadowing so you can spend time watching an existing studio owner at work
• On-site support in your studio when you first open.

The Go Yoga training school offers several training options for franchisees including an online training facility. You can go through training courses on teaching yoga to children, aerial yoga, Kundalini, and yoga for teenagers. The more types of class and disciplines a teacher can learn the better the range of classes he or she can offer to their clients.

In all, the franchisor offers new franchisees in the region of 200 hours of training, support, and business shadowing.

Do I need experience to be a Go Yoga franchisee?

You do not have to be highly proficient; you could be an enthusiastic yoga class attendee or a yoga teacher. While loving yoga is essential, it is very important for your success and that of the franchise network that you have a broader focus and range of skills and abilities.

Will I be able to get an area of my choice?

The franchisor is keen to expand throughout the UK, but you would have to enquire directly with Go Yoga about your specific location as some may not be ideal from a market point of view.

Is income guaranteed when running a Go Yoga franchise?

As with any business, income is not guaranteed as it depends on several factors including the amount and quality of work done by the franchisee.

Do I need to do my own marketing?

Yes. You will have support and guidance in this regard, and the weight of the brand behind your efforts, but you need to market locally to promote your studio. Happy clients are the best advertising as they will generate business for you through word of mouth.

What is not included when I purchase a Go Yoga franchise?

This will be discussed with you when your level of investment and payment schedule (if applicable) is agreed.

Is there a monthly fee or payment?

There is a monthly fee of +- 12 %per cent of gross income. This goes towards running costs such as administration and software.

What makes Go Yoga an interesting proposition is that the model is a niche one.
