Graeme Mulheron, owner and director of The ZipYard Bedford, opened his store in 2013 and can't stop singing the franchisor's praises

“I looked at multiple different franchise opportunities and chose the Zip Yard as I felt it was a business that cannot be replicated online,” said Graeme Mulheron, owner and director of The ZipYard Bedford. “Compared to many franchises the initial investment is relatively low and the ongoing fees are reasonable compared to most franchise businesses. 
 
“I have developed a strong reputation for quality and service with our local customers in and around Bedford and have also managed to obtain contract work which supplements the business.”
 
Graeme genuinely believes that this has been a great investment, giving him a solid and profitable business that serves a loyal customer base.

“The branding is really strong and even during difficult economic times the business still works well and generates positive cash flow. Like any business – you get out what you put in. If you’re willing to put the effort in, provide great customer service and take advantage of the brand strength, you can have a very good business.
 
“Support from the head office is excellent and I can see the company growing into a nationally recognisable brand,” he said.
