A-STAR SPORTS PLANNING NINE NEW FRANCHISE OPPORTUNITIES IN 2014

With 15 UK-wide territories established over the last two and a half years, the company, which specialises in sports coaching for children aged 2-10, is aiming to have 24 franchises up and running by the end of the year.

Director Sharon Bassett says: “Our franchisees come from a variety of backgrounds, including the banking and finance industry, general management, retail, joinery and childcare, as well as those with a traditional coaching background and a number who have been home grown as previous A-Star Sports coaches.

Sharon adds: “We have set ourselves a very ambitious target of securing a further nine franchisees by the end of the year to make a total of 24, but such is the appeal of our franchise opportunities, not to mention the sheer fun of guiding youngsters into sport and fitness, that we expect to make that challenging target, just as we have beaten our previous growth targets over the last couple of years.”
