The multi-award-winning discount scheme, My VIP Card, expanded nationally in September with a franchise model that has already seen 25 entrepreneurs jump at the opportunity to launch their own regional business. The new franchisees will benefit from the national presence the scheme already has, allowing them to capitalise on this and grow their own regions especially in the run-up to the busy Christmas period.

My VIP Card was launched by founder Maddy Alexander-Grout in 2017 to supports local businesses by offering a network of discounts to UK shoppers. The scheme offers members a virtual card and pin drop function, so they never miss a local discount, and ensure that local businesses that are part of the scheme are promoted locally and beyond.

The scheme’s new franchise model has already proved a very popular opportunity especially as the discount scheme already has over 4,500 rewards and discounts in local communities across the UK and as these regional franchises launch, this is expected to grow rapidly.
