bfa awards What Franchise and Global Franchise!

What Franchise along with sister title Global Franchise was announced as the winner of the Industry Contribution Award at the 2019 bfa Annual Conference.

The prestigious award was presented to the team from top publisher D.C. Thomson’s Aceville Publications at the Vox Conference Center in Birmingham, U.K.

Judges cited the developments across both magazines and work done towards promoting franchising to a wider audience.

“We have an incredibly strong team who work fantastically hard to create a first class product, both on print and online. I congratulate them all,” said Global Franchise editor, Ross Gilfillan. 

Pip Wilkins, CEO of the bfa said: “Global Franchise and What Franchise have shown a real investment in getting the word of franchising out to a wider audience. Twinned with this, Global and What Franchise’s commitment to upholding the ethical standards of the bfa and the overall strength of the application, led the team to claim the Industry Contribution award.”
