d&t appoints new managing director

The chartered accountants has promoted Dave Galvin, previously its director and head of franchising/senior business adviser, to the role.

He has 20 years’ experience in the commercial world across multiple industries, with 14 of those spent in the franchise sector. 

Prior to joining d&t, Dave worked for The Dwyer Group - recently rebranded as Neighborly - where he worked with its UK brands, such as Mr. Electric and Drain Doctor.

Before that, he spent time with The Wheel Specialist, Papa John’s, Jiffy Packaging and Card Connection.

Dave (pictured centre) says: “My role will be to build on d&t’s outstanding reputation for service and delivery and to continue the business’ trajectory of growth and flair for innovation. 

“I am very much looking forward to developing new relationships as we expand our range of accountancy and business services in the industry.”

d&t, which won the 2018 British Franchise Association Award for Innovation and Development, has recently launched two new facets to the business: d&t Funding and d&t Business Advisory.

Dave adds: “We anticipate these latest innovative additions to our portfolio of services will make a significant contribution to the growth of our clients’ businesses over the next few years and in turn will allow us to further expand the scope of d&t.”
