Entrepreneur of the Year Award

UK entrepreneurs are being urged to showcase their start-up talent by entering a top business award.

The prestigious Entrepreneur of the Year Award 2010, launched by the British Chambers of Commerce and sponsored by Staples, rewards and recognises entrepreneurial success across the UK.

“Hard-working entrepreneurs are increasingly becoming more and more critical to the success of the UK economy,” says Yetunde Ige, head of marketing at Staples. “With the digital age upon us, there has never been more opportunity out there for motivated self-starters.

“We want to hear from people who have set up dynamic businesses by overcoming hurdles, finding innovative ways to navigate the current economic climate and, above all, are passionate about what they do.”

All regional winners will go through to the national finals to be in with a chance of collecting the ‘Winners of Winners’ award for the most outstanding business achievement across the board - and its £50,000 prize.
