Free start-up organiser

Business Link has produced a start-up organiser on its website that enables you to analyse the potential of your business ideas and plan the next steps.

The three-stage process starts with a questionnaire about your business, while part two gives you a list of step-by-step tasks to save and complete at your own pace based on your answers. Stage three then provides access to a library of resources to help you complete each task.

Business Link adviser, Gareth Sear, says: “Starting a new business can seem daunting, particularly when you’re young, but research shows that a business that uses professional external advice is more likely to succeed - and this is where Business Link can help. 

“Business Link can help develop and exploit initial ideas, to researching the marketing and writing a business plan. Business Link can also direct young entrepreneurs to organisations that provide support and finance specifically to the under-30s.”
